I am living in Toronto/Canada but I born in Hong Kong; and still holding my Hong Kong ID citizenship.
I follow this event very closely and understand this is a very difficult negotiation in particular when our mother land is now on the top of the world.
I believe what the party has done is the right thing and I wish your success in future negotiation with those folks in Beijing.
I also wish one day I could return to Hong Kong and vote the way I do in Toronto.

1. Support dphk on “transitional” reform proposal strategy.
2. But DPHK should push more aggressively on original agenda direct elections.
3. Continue communication with State levels. Adapt strategy to encourage BJ to take more liberal views and bigger mind/heart on HK reform…with China being a recognized world influencer now vs relatively very small reform issue of HK. If HK strategy cannot be a little more progressive, how can BJ take on Taiwan democracy and unification strategy?
